Description
Similar to the BMW R1200GS Vario Panniers, the BMW R1200GS Topcase can be quickly converted from 25.5 to 32.5 liters with one quick motion of the interior lever. A backrest is available for passenger comfort and two options are available for mounting: The top-case may be mounted on the rear rack.
An adapter plate braced to the rear frame section is available and required for this option. Alternatively, the case may be mounted in place of the passenger seat for better vehicle weight distribution when riding solo. A mounting kit for this 'forward' installation is required and the rear rack must be removed.
Fits R1200GS Standard all model years. Does not fit R1200GS ADV. Will work on the F800|700|650GS topcase mount.
